Ephemeral No.1, 2 & 3, 2020
Ephemeral is a series of paper weaves that takes inspiration from colors, textures and mythology of Harran; painted with natural dyes and pigments, it is a meditation on nature and time transforming the physical. It is a visual narrative about the ephemeral quality of the ancient city, be it a minute, a day or a span of many centuries.
These works were on view at the 5th Istanbul Design Biennial 2020 as part of the Civic Rituals section of the biennial and the Atlas Harran exhibition - at Inbetween Design Space.
